In the drizzly morning I caught the TransPerth light rail from Thornlie to Fremantle for a last visit with Camilo. We lunched on noodle bowls at the Saturday market. It was heaving with school holiday crowds. We had come on bicycles and our timing was off riding home: we got caught by a rain squall coming in from the ocean.
In the afternoon I met up with Robert Tait and Lee in a fancy downtown pub for a couple beers before a last bit of shopping in the mall. I bought a small suitcase to carry all the Australian treasures I'd collected to bring home to Sri Lanka.
The evening wound up with the three of us partying and making music and finally watching comedy videos, avoiding the rainy night, enjoying the end of our days together.
